From the Artist
The theme
of a "thing of beauty is a joy forever" has been my inspiration for observing
beautiful scenes and is reflected in my paintings.
These
paintings include floral designs, landscapes, still life and portraits that are
more interpretive then realistic. I paint to create a sense of peace and
tranquility in the mind of the viewer.
I studied
at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA., the Danforth Museum in Framingham,
MA. and at Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, MA.. Portrait workshops with Robert
Cormier, Daniel Greene and Charlotte Wharton are just a part of my painting
experience.
As a
partner in an art gallery on Newbury Street, Boston, MA., I represented
collectors in the United States, Russia, Australia and Canada.
